Ron Mueck

Ron Mueck (born 1958) is an Australian working in Great Britain. He is one of the most recognized names in photo realistic sculpturing. He also worked on special effects in the 1986 movie Labyrinth.

Mueck eventually established his own company in London specializing in making photo-realistic props and animatronics for the advertising industry. Although highly detailed, these props were usually designed to be photographed only one specific angle while hiding the mess of construction seen from the other side.
